The Rotary Club of Alabang-Lampara Launches a Nine (9) Point Strategy

The Rotary Club of Alabang-Lampra (RCAL) a four month old newly chartered club has launched a nine point strategy which they termed ‘FAST TRACK Strategy’. Being in its infancy stage, the Charter President Danny Abinoja adopted as a theme for this year ‘Stronger Club and Committed Members’. He believes that club and members strengthening will be the priority of any new chartered club.
FAST TRACK is an acronym which stands for;
-
Fund Support From Mother District
-
Assistance from Mother Club
-
Support District Committee Chair (DCC) Activities
-
Take Advantage of Local Foundations & RI Funds
-
To join with Muntinlupa Cluster Projects
-
Reinforce Club Strength through Recruitment
-
Activate simple but meaningful Projects
-
Co-hosting of projects with older Clubs
-
Keep members committed and motivated
As an infant, the club will initially take advantage of the support of the district like the District Simplified Grant (DSG) and the District Direct Fund (DDF). It will also accept the support of its mother club, the RC Makati West. Just recently, it was provided five (5) wheelchairs by its mother club. The Club will also support all District Committee Chairs by co-hosting its activities and adopting some relevant projects which the club can sustain. It will also take advantage of local foundations like the RC Makati Foundation Inc. and the Gilda Catalina Lim Foundation. It has applied for a matching grant and a WCS support for its intended projects.

To further help in its growth, the club forge a sisterhood agreement with all Muntinlupa clubs where they agreed to support each other on common interest, fellowship, projects and activities. It will reinforce its club strength through quality recruitment and by implementing very simple but meaningful projects. It has also accepted invitation to co-host projects of older clubs in the district. Finally, its bread and butter is to keep its members committed and motivated.
The FAST TRACK Strategy was launched last 1 April which was the first day of the Smiling Visionary Presidents’ in office. It coincide with the scheduled team visit of our Assistant Governor Tess Filoteo. The visit was graced by Senior assistant Governor Beth Rabuy, DCC Lilibeth Dela Cruz, Senior Assistant Governor Fritz Ocampo and IPP Vicente Jose ‘Jojo’ Roxas.
